I want to start this off by saying that I love this clinic. This is in no way about the decline in service or satisfaction. I have been a revolving customer of this location for 8 years and I have two dogs that come in religiously for nail trims and anal gland expressions at least once a month. The staff has always been so friendly, well educated and such a pleasure to be around, especially when it comes to my two crazy labs (who need to be a little sedated for these appointments). They even call them by name before we check in, and that’s a plus as a pet parent. However, the pricing has gotten so out of hand now that they’re on the corporate side of things. It’s an issue. I left today paying $131 for 2 nail trims and 1 anal gland expression. Thats $35 per nail trim and $41 for the expression. And as of a few months ago, they started charging an ADDITIONAL $10 technician/assistant appointment fee- which then adds up to an extra $20 for both dogs. Why was that charge added in without telling anyone? Or better yet, why was it added at all? In 2018, both of those services were half of what the cost is today with NO added tech fees, if that helps paint a picture. Their costs have been increasing in small increments over the years and it seems like there is no relief in sight for the people who genuinely want to have the best care for their pets. Somethings got to give.
